Revit Roof Split Line

This is pretty easy to control.

Only one of the pieces is selected in the image below. Click on the shape edit element to select it. Press delete or right click the element and select delete. You can now simply hover over the element you wish to split and revit will display a blue line to indicate where the split will be made go ahed and left click with your mouse.

The forgotten options i had a client recently who does residential roof framing and wanted to know. Click modify floors tabshape editing panelmodify sub elements. Activate modify sub elements. You might prefer to use the add split line tool which create points at intersections.

As soon as you activate the split element tool you ll notice that your cursor changes to an icon of a knife scalpel blade. You can drag any point in your roof and adjust the roof shape as you want. To delete shape edit elements select the modified floor. First activate add split line and draw the lines like below.
